What is The Sunday Review?
When it comes to learning a language, there is no magic pill you can swallow and instantly speak perfectly. It takes time, dedication, and lots of practice. This week, TESOL Planner is releasing the first in a series of grammar practice slide shares to offer English learners the opportunity to study and review on their own. If you’ve ever found yourself asking “How can I improve my English?” then The Sunday Review is a great resource to add to your study routine. The Sunday Review guides you through error detection and raises your awareness of the types of common errors learners make and how they can be fixed.
How does it work?
- Download and review the Correction Symbols by CLICKING HERE. This will help you learn about different types of common mistakes.
- Open the slide share by clicking here.
- Put the slide into presentation mode and start practicing.
- Look at a slide and try to find the mistake(s). Move to the next slide to get a hint about the type of mistake by seeing the symbol for what types of mistakes are in the sentence, and then move to the third slide to check your answer.
