I recently created this handout for my advanced composition class. I wanted my students to be more reflective with their writing process. I also wanted to open up a dialogue with my students. I gave them about 30 minutes in class to complete this activity on the day I was collecting their first papers. I was able to reference the sheet while I was grading. It helped me see some of the things they were thinking about/struggling with on their paper, and this also helped me give them targeted feedback as well as support I was also able to respond to some of their annotations on the draft which I really liked.
