We read, discussed, and wrote about books and academic articles about complex topics and themes. I’ve also taught beginning ESL classes where the students often struggle with correctly creating basic sentences. At first glance, you may think that beginning ESL courses have nothing in common with high-level comp classes. But can they? Should they?
